About the Office 365 Training Portal

Microsoft has a wealth of excellent training resources and documentation for all of its Office 365 products in various locations around the web, but it can be a challenge to find them when you need them. The Office 365 Training Portal simplifies the process by providing quick access to Microsoft’s key Office 365 training materials, all from one easy-to-navigate, central location.

Site Benefits

  • Quick access to Microsoft’s top Office 365 training materials, documentation and resources.
  • Microsoft’s Office 365 app demo videos all in one place.
  • The latest Office 365 news, tips and tricks via Microsoft’s official Twitter feeds.
  • Simple navigation; all resources are just a couple of clicks away.
  • Saves time and boosts efficiency and productivity.
  • Empowers users and organizations to take advantage of all that Office 365 has to offer.

Site Layout

Each of the core Office 365 apps has a dedicated page on the Office 365 Training Portal. All app pages follow the same format, with Microsoft’s video demo of the app at the top (when available), links to key resources below the video, and Microsoft’s app Twitter feed (when available) at the bottom.

Target Audience

While any Office 365 user can benefit from using the portal, it will be particularly useful to project managers, trainers, consultants, and those responsible for user adoption within their organizations. The User Adoption page, for example, has a collection of resources that took a lot of time and research to assemble!

For those unfamiliar with the Office 365 apps, the Training Portal makes it easy to watch Microsoft’s app demos to gain a general understanding of their intended use, and then quickly access training videos, documentation, and resources should they want to go deeper. This can be particularly useful for executives, managers, and team leaders who may not be using the apps on a day-to-day basis themselves, but nonetheless need an understanding of what Office 365 and its apps are capable of.
